Dhoom 2 - Trailer

Its the time for sequels in Bollywood, It has scored a hat trick this year with the success of three sequels - "Phir Hera Pheri", "Krish" and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai". Now "Dhoom 2", has joined in the queue, and all are eagerly waiting for its luck!!

we all know the super success hit of sensational Dhoom in 2005, as the trend is still going with it yash films came up with Dhoom 2 which is going to be released in November 24th, 2006.

The original had Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, John Abraham, Esha Deol and Rimi Sen. The sequel has Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai playing thieves. Hrithik replaces John from the earlier flick. Aishwarya and Bipasha Basu pitch in for Esha Deol and Rimi Sen.

The sensational point in D:2 is the role of beautiful Aishwarya Rai, and she is acting in bikini first time, so think of it..!! Herself and Hrithik will play together. Abhishek is playing a role of a cop.Aish was asked by Aditya Chopra to slim down especially for Dhoom 2 and she made it, she look so cute in this movie.

Last week I've seen the D:2 trailer, it was so cool, same Dhoom original version effects, and background music too. I really like it. And now it has got more advanced techniques. I hope we all can enjoy the fill totally. I'm sure you can enjoy the full thrill just like D:1 :-) so don't miss!

D:2 is going to be released on Nov' 24 world wide. As a latest news of today, I read that it will also be released in Telugu as well. Wow, thats great for Telugu ones. May be I love to watch both Hindi and Telugu as well!

In fact, the sequel was supposed to hit the screens on October 20 [Diwali week], but has been shifted to November 24 because "Aditya Chopra has decided that more time will be required for the post-production," a statement issued by Yash Raj to Taran Adarsh stated.

From the desert of Namibia to the backwaters of Goa, the mean streets of Mumbai and the ancient forts of Rajasthan, and finally to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - the film promises to take the audiences on a ride through some of the most exotic locations in the world. Apart from that, director Sanjay Gadhavi has laced it with the best of technology to turn it into a hi-tech thriller. The music score of "Dhoom" played an important part in its success, but the music of part two is not as appealing as the original.

Thats all about now, I think you like this trailer, just a click :

Zuleyka Rivera Visits India

I think most of your forgot about Zuleyka who is Miss Universe 2006. She is another guest to India now. She arrived Mumbai on Monday late night this week as a special guest on Dewali festive mood. She came here to bring more light into AIDS awareness in the country that will take her to 12 other cities including New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.

The event is organized by US-based Indian fashion designer Sanjana Jon. “Zuleyka told me she is excited about visiting India" she said in September. Juleyka also said her visit would be an achievement if she could change the life of at least one person in India.

Having collaborated with an NGO, ‘Helping Hands’ in Chennai, the aim was to create awareness of Aids in India. On the agenda are a host of fashion events. “I will not only be designing appropriate clothing for Miss Universe during the tour, but will also be hosting several fashion events where I will showcase my collection,” said Jon.

"The first thing that I am going to do here is my AIDS awareness tour, that's my purpose. As a Miss Universe you know that we work with this organisation very close and we are going to do some activities that I would like to do," Zuleyka said.

Kiran Desai - Man Booker Prize winner

Noted Indian novelist Anita Desai's daughter Kiran Desai has created history by becoming the youngest woman novelist to bag this year's Man Booker Prize, the UK's coveted literary honor, for her cross-culture novel 'The Inheritance of Loss'.

The 35-year-old gets a cash prize of US$93,000, along with the citation. Desai's mother Anita had been nominated for the Booker Prize three times, but was left behind by other authors. The two are the first ever mother-daughter team to be nominated for the prestigious award.

Dedicating the honor to her mother, Kiran Desai said: “To my mother I owe a debt so profound. This book feels as much hers as it does mine. It was written in her company and in her wisdom and kindness. I really owe her this book so enormously.

"The remarkable thing about Kiran Desai is that she is aware of her Anglo-Indian inheritance -- of [V.S.] Naipaul and [R.K.] Narayan and [Salman] Rushdie -- but she does something pioneering," said Hermione Lee, chairman of the judges.

Since 2-weeks I was eagarly waiting for Miss World 2006 pageant that held on 30th sept'06 at WARSAW, Poland. I thougt it would be a live telecast, but unfotunately there is not any...!! So I could not watch, same thing happend to Miss Universe pegeat too! but I was watching the web and news atricles about it. But I wonder there is no news after the event on any new-papers, I surprised and thought may be it has not got that much attention as with Miss Universe.

Tatana Kucharova, an 18-year-old student from the Czech Republic, won the Miss World 2006.(Top Left)Kucharova defeated 103 other women in voting by a panel of judges and television viewers around the world during a two-hour finals ceremony in the Polish capital.

Mileage Factor

Early in the morning I'm moving on the rainy road. I stopped someware to park my byke, suddenly a stranger appeared infront of me, and asked "How much mileage are you getting?".
First I was confused about what to say! but I said that its my new byke so not getting much mileage. He said "Ok!", and again asked me "Are you getting 70 ?!!", I said "No!" and moved away from there. I saw some disappontment in his face, I knew that he feel so. But the fact is that my new byke is giving 45KMPL only. If I say so, he thinks that all that HH new rage bykes gives less mileage. I dont want give him such a low-pace impresson.

But even I have a low impression on my byke as the milege is very low; as it is new, I think it should at least give 50KMPL and it should increase to a better number after a set of services. But its ok now, I've to see how it performs after few months. It is 125cc byke and it may not give 70KMPL as told by the delar, but I expect at least 60KMPL with a good running speed. I like it coz, it runs faster on the roads, I feel good about it. The engine is not like other bykes you know!. As it has a new range engine, we no need to change the engine oil for 6000KMs. For other bykes it is only 2000KMs. And it has 2yrs of warrenty while others have only 1yr warrenty. So cool, right?! :-)

Note:-This post is according to indian bykes and road conditions only.

9/11 Effect - Remembrance

Everyone knows about the 9/11 incident and there are so many victims. I'm also one of them...! I don’t have a direct impact rather It was effected my career indirectly. It's just 15 days before I joined in a new company IIL, New Delhi, with a cool offer to fly to UK for a training program on Smiles CRM Product. I'm done with every thing including the visiting visa to UK. My self and my friend were so much excited to fly away in few days.(3 people were selected as a part of the program). The company had to fix a date to book the tickets, and we were asked to finish the shopping as well. So, with out any other thought, (as we don’t have much time) I finished the shopping by spending around 10K rupees of pocket money. It includes shoes, suits, and winter jackets, etc. etc...!

The other day we went to the office normally and checking our status, preparing required documents...bla...bla...bla.. Suddenly one of my colleagues turned our side and told the news about the attack on twin towers and it was totally blasted. He showed the photos & videos as well. It's really horrible news. As an instant effect so many countries stopped their air-services. I was thinking that, its ok I did not happen to UK, so I can fly....! But what happened is different. Due to that event the company in UK also put the program in pending, and giving no information on what to do. Within few days, I understood that the training program was canceled. I sticked the Delhi office itself. So, all doors were closed.......ooooooooooops!!!

After 1-2 months of handling a new project, I was requested to visit IIL-Hyde office where the actual development of the project took place. Since then I'm in Hyde till today, though I switched to different companies in my career path.

Ganapathi Bappa

'Ganesh Chaturthi' is one of the great and famous festival in India; Particularly in Mumbai , South Inida and specially in Hyderabad. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesh, son of Lord Shankar and Goddess Parvati. This festival comes on the 4th day of Bhadrapada Shukla-paksh of Hindu calender.

This year the movement is like that not to immerse the Idols in the Hussain-Sagar due to the pollution problems, but a final court decision makes all the devotees made happy that this time they can go ahed! The Ganesh Idols are made up of plaster of paris (POP) which remains in water up to 5 days harming the water in the sagar. So, groups are advised to make idols from traditional clay, which decomposes in two hours, instead of cheaper plaster of Paris.

Interestingly I've also seen some posters saying that to use the clay made idols, and not to use the coloured idols. This is really a good idea to make the people aware of the pollution due the idols. Also I have heard a news saying that most pople used caly made idols; this shows the public is also getting awareness on ganesh idols. I have also brought a clay made ganesh, wow! But the trick I applied was that the POP Idols costs high and the Idiol will be small, but you'll get a big clay idol with less price!! So, I opted to purchase the Bigger Ganesh! :-)

Finally, If I dont talk about Khairatabad-Ganesh, this article is not complete. This year the Huge Ganesh is about 40ft, while it was 45ft last year. The Idol so good this time, Made with 50 kg of butter. This picture you see here is the one setup this year!

Who Let the Pluto Out?

I personally feel very sad that one of our friend since child hood has been kicked out our family. You migt be thinking of some one else, but I'm talking about our commen friend 'Pluto' - who is the member of our one and only Solar family in the whole universe!

At a meeting in Prague, the International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of the planetary status it has held since its discovery in 1930.From its discovery in 1930 until 2006 it was considered the ninth and smallest of the planets of the Solar System

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) came up with historic new guidelines that downsize the solar system from nine planets to eight after a tumultuous week of clashing over the essence of the cosmos. IAU decided on Aug. 24, 2006, to reclassify Pluto as a dwarf planet, requiring that a planet must 'clear the neighbourhood around its orbit.' It qualified as a planet under the draft definition but it failed to qualify under the final resolution, passed by the General Assembly of the IAU."

All is fine, but what I belive is that; as per the new scientists, they have discovered Pluto in 1930, but the fact is that it is there in Indian Atrology and in use since then. It has it own implications in a human astrological life. Its not newly discovered, its already been identified as a planet in indian mythology and in astrlogy. All the 9 planets are collectively named as 'Nava Grahas'. And all Hindu's consider them as 9 Gods and we pray them to give us peaceful life. Below is the list of planets and the corrsponding gods representations.

Mercury - Budha
Venus - Sukra
Earth - Bhoomi
Mars - Angaraka
Jupitor - Guru
Saturn - Sani
Neptune - Indra
Pluto - Yama

Earth is feminine thing, so it represented as a female (So called 'Bhoo Devi') while the other planets are masculines. [Note: according the Roman Mythology Venus is represented as Goddess of love and beauty]

For what ever reason they have disqualified it, pluto always remains pluto, and it will deserve its significance. Just because of the definitions nothing will change! It remains forever. I strongly object to let the pluto out of our family!

Super Man Vs Spider Man

Last week I got a chance to see superman with IMAX 3D experience. I did not see any superman movies/stories ever before, but I feel that it follows the same base story as of spiderman. Both guys are news reporters and do advantures to save people & their lovers.

But I think spidarman advantures are believable and acceptable to some extent, but all the superman advantures are extremly superstituous and unbelievable. Spiderman is a earthly creature, wheare as Superman comes from space. One thing I extremely wondered that the Superman who can even lift the sea-hidden continent to the space; was beaten by the robbers on the same continent; can't he just throw them away just like that..!! I surprised when he gets blood on the hands..!! and I did not understand why did it happend so, for such a super power man..!!. There were laughs around me when something is amazed on the screen. someone says 'Superman also requires oxygen!?.....lol....lol.....!!!!' while he was given oxyzen when he fall-down from the sapce.

In the sense of love what everyone can observe is that super man loves(or likes) a married girl but the spider man fall in love with his next door young girl. Who ever curious about love matters can clearly mind this point! Finally my vote goes to SpidarMan!
