Dhoom 2 - Trailer

Its the time for sequels in Bollywood, It has scored a hat trick this year with the success of three sequels - "Phir Hera Pheri", "Krish" and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai". Now "Dhoom 2", has joined in the queue, and all are eagerly waiting for its luck!!

we all know the super success hit of sensational Dhoom in 2005, as the trend is still going with it yash films came up with Dhoom 2 which is going to be released in November 24th, 2006.

The original had Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, John Abraham, Esha Deol and Rimi Sen. The sequel has Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai playing thieves. Hrithik replaces John from the earlier flick. Aishwarya and Bipasha Basu pitch in for Esha Deol and Rimi Sen.

The sensational point in D:2 is the role of beautiful Aishwarya Rai, and she is acting in bikini first time, so think of it..!! Herself and Hrithik will play together. Abhishek is playing a role of a cop.Aish was asked by Aditya Chopra to slim down especially for Dhoom 2 and she made it, she look so cute in this movie.

Last week I've seen the D:2 trailer, it was so cool, same Dhoom original version effects, and background music too. I really like it. And now it has got more advanced techniques. I hope we all can enjoy the fill totally. I'm sure you can enjoy the full thrill just like D:1 :-) so don't miss!

D:2 is going to be released on Nov' 24 world wide. As a latest news of today, I read that it will also be released in Telugu as well. Wow, thats great for Telugu ones. May be I love to watch both Hindi and Telugu as well!

In fact, the sequel was supposed to hit the screens on October 20 [Diwali week], but has been shifted to November 24 because "Aditya Chopra has decided that more time will be required for the post-production," a statement issued by Yash Raj to Taran Adarsh stated.

From the desert of Namibia to the backwaters of Goa, the mean streets of Mumbai and the ancient forts of Rajasthan, and finally to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - the film promises to take the audiences on a ride through some of the most exotic locations in the world. Apart from that, director Sanjay Gadhavi has laced it with the best of technology to turn it into a hi-tech thriller. The music score of "Dhoom" played an important part in its success, but the music of part two is not as appealing as the original.

Thats all about now, I think you like this trailer, just a click :

Zuleyka Rivera Visits India

I think most of your forgot about Zuleyka who is Miss Universe 2006. She is another guest to India now. She arrived Mumbai on Monday late night this week as a special guest on Dewali festive mood. She came here to bring more light into AIDS awareness in the country that will take her to 12 other cities including New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.

The event is organized by US-based Indian fashion designer Sanjana Jon. “Zuleyka told me she is excited about visiting India" she said in September. Juleyka also said her visit would be an achievement if she could change the life of at least one person in India.

Having collaborated with an NGO, ‘Helping Hands’ in Chennai, the aim was to create awareness of Aids in India. On the agenda are a host of fashion events. “I will not only be designing appropriate clothing for Miss Universe during the tour, but will also be hosting several fashion events where I will showcase my collection,” said Jon.

"The first thing that I am going to do here is my AIDS awareness tour, that's my purpose. As a Miss Universe you know that we work with this organisation very close and we are going to do some activities that I would like to do," Zuleyka said.

Kiran Desai - Man Booker Prize winner

Noted Indian novelist Anita Desai's daughter Kiran Desai has created history by becoming the youngest woman novelist to bag this year's Man Booker Prize, the UK's coveted literary honor, for her cross-culture novel 'The Inheritance of Loss'.

The 35-year-old gets a cash prize of US$93,000, along with the citation. Desai's mother Anita had been nominated for the Booker Prize three times, but was left behind by other authors. The two are the first ever mother-daughter team to be nominated for the prestigious award.

Dedicating the honor to her mother, Kiran Desai said: “To my mother I owe a debt so profound. This book feels as much hers as it does mine. It was written in her company and in her wisdom and kindness. I really owe her this book so enormously.

"The remarkable thing about Kiran Desai is that she is aware of her Anglo-Indian inheritance -- of [V.S.] Naipaul and [R.K.] Narayan and [Salman] Rushdie -- but she does something pioneering," said Hermione Lee, chairman of the judges.
